Calexico has always been a very generous community. This generosity really doesn’t have boundaries- whether it be a family in need, or our youth in need of a fundraiser for sports or academia our community has always been there with enthusiasm. It this positivity that sets our community apart from others.
The Calexico Education Foundation takes this approach in encouraging our students to continue their education after High School graduation. Many of our private donors are Calexico graduates who know the benefits of a generous community and take this opportunity to PAY IT FORWARD. They do this by sponsoring yearly scholarships in their names or in memoriam to other well loved Calexico graduates. We encourage EVERYONE to always PAY IT FORWARD and to continue to encourage our Calexico graduates to become successful generous citizens.
