FUNDING

Foundation funds are obtained from individual and corporate tax deductible contributions as well as from other foundations  The contributions can be general in nature or can be given to support a particular project.   Furthermore, contributions may be made for current use or permanently endowed.

EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS

All donations to the Foundation are spent with approval of the Calexico Educational Foundation Board of Trustees.  The use of the funds must be consistent with the educational goals and priorities of the Calexico Unified School District. 

The Calexico Educational Foundation is a 501[c]3 nonprofit organization. TAXID 33-0355095
